Good to know about QLD school holidays

  • Queensland state schools follow a single statewide calendar.
  • Year 12 students usually finish earlier in Term 4 than other year levels.
  • Queensland does not observe daylight saving, so countdowns use Brisbane time all year.
  • Public holidays that fall during term (such as Anzac Day or a King's Birthday holiday) are days off school but are not counted as school holidays.
