Why choose an educational holiday program?
The school holidays are a great time to rest, play and recharge. A few hours of structured learning can also help children hold on to what they learned during term, build confidence before the new term, and try something new — like coding, public speaking or creative writing — without the pressure of school.

How to choose a holiday program
- Clear learning goals. Good programs say what your child will practise or achieve, such as reading confidence, times tables or creative writing.
- The right level. Look for programs grouped by age or year level, so activities are challenging but achievable.
- Small groups. Smaller groups mean more attention and encouragement for each child.
- Fun built in. Children learn best when they're enjoying themselves. Games, projects and hands-on tasks keep the holidays feeling like holidays.
- Practical details. Check the dates, session times, location, what to bring and how to book before you commit.
- Qualified, safe staff. Ask about staff experience and child-safety checks (such as Working with Children Checks in Australia or safety checks in New Zealand).
