Good to know about ACT school holidays

  • ACT public schools follow a single territory-wide calendar.
  • The ACT calendar is similar to NSW but is not identical, so don't rely on NSW dates for Canberra schools.
  • Public holidays that fall during term (such as Anzac Day or a King's Birthday holiday) are days off school but are not counted as school holidays.
